U-VUE Biomarker Datasheet - CD68

Target:CD68
Alternative Name:Macrosialin
Clone:KP1
Isotype:Mouse IgG1
Reactivity:Human
Main cell types:Macrophages
Subcellular Location:Plasma membrane, lysosomal/endosomal membranes
Positive control:Tonsil, Spleen

CD68 is expressed on human macrophages and other mononuclear phagocytes. CD68 is a heavily glycosylated glycoprotein that is in volved in ligand binding and is a member of the scavenger receptor family. CD68 functions in phagocytic activities and macrophage homing.
